What You’ll Win:

We’re giving away 2 pairs of solemates (up to $1000 value) five times over the course of the raffle. 

Here’s How It Works:

We need to sell 1000 raffle tickets to reach our goal. Once we hit 200 tickets sold, we will pick a winner at random. Once a winner is picked, we will start the raffle over to keep the odds of winning high. You can enter each raffle (5 total) as many times as you’d like by buying raffle tickets.  

Tickets will be sold in $50 increments on our website. Each ticket purchased is a separate entry to the raffle. All raffle ticket purchases made will serve as future credit to our website. After each winner is announced, you will receive an email with a unique store credit code based on the amount spent during the raffle. 

In lieu of buying raffle tickets, you can make purchases on our site. We will enter you into the raffle based on your purchase amount, each entry being $50 increments spent.

If you are not in a place financially to support us at this time, we understand.

Why We're doing this....

After 13 years of bootstrapping, steady growth, our fair share of challenges and problem solving on the fly, we’re grateful to still be here making the best damn boots in the world. We are grateful to have you, our  amazing customers who have continued to come back for more… without you, we wouldn't have made it this far and we appreciate your support beyond words!

The past three years have been unlike anything i’ve experienced in 40 years in the footwear industry. Our sales took a huge hit during the pandemic but with the help of an SBA loan, we were able to stay afloat. Post pandemic, our sales were steady but have yet to climb back to pre-pandemic numbers and we’re struggling to cover our costs; spending the loan money we had as a cushion.

Last year, we faced our biggest challenge yet:  a full factory move and re-construction resulted in 12 months of no product.. without receiving anything new or getting restocks of any sold out sizes in our best styles (our bread and butter), our cash flow has been affected in a way that is becoming impossible to recover. This year, Instagram (our main source of traffic) has continued to suppress our content to an all-time low.  We have pushed onward and found creative ways to keep going but we have finally hit that point where we realize we need help. 

In order to keep making the high-quality, long lasting, environmentally-conscious  and self-empowering footwear you love, we are asking for your help. We hope by leaning into our community and customers, we can keep creating innovative and unique footwear and our pskaufman… small business dream alive. 

Before you get worried, pskaufman… is not going anywhere. Sure, it may be our stubbornness, but we are committed to our mission and won’t back down. We are trying to find a creative, mutually beneficial solution to staying in business. 

After much discussion, we’ve decided to launch a raffle in which you will be able to support us via the purchase of raffle tickets (redeemable for store credit) and have the opportunity to win up to 10 pairs of solemates!
